FAQ
Unbroken is a unique charity poker tournament in which 100% of the participation fee is donated to the IDF Widows & Orphans Organization (IDFWO). It is not a competitive tournament with cash prizes, but a meaningful community event where poker serves as a means to foster connection, generosity, and resilience.
The participation fee is 2,000 NIS, fully donated to the IDF Widows & Orphans Organization. There are no cash prizes—every contribution directly supports the organization’s work.
The event will take place on March 22, 2026, at EAST-TLV, Meitav Street 13, Tel Aviv.
All proceeds are donated to the IDF Widows & Orphans Organization (IDFWO), Israel’s official body supporting widows, widowers, and orphans of fallen soldiers from the IDF and all security forces, including the Israel Police, the Israel Security Agency, Mossad, Israel Prison Service, and civilian emergency response units. Their work includes emotional support, resilience-building camps, financial aid, scholarships, family retreats, and daily guidance for approximately 18,000 families across Israel.
Unbroken is far more than an evening of poker. It is a festive, energetic, and inspiring experience celebrating community, generosity, and the very best of the Israeli spirit.
Guests will enjoy quality catering by EAST-TLV, and players will have the rare opportunity to play alongside Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, the reigning World Champion and one of the most acclaimed poker players in the world.
Unbroken welcomes anyone who believes in community, generosity, and mutual responsibility. It is open to both amateur and experienced poker players, as well as guests who simply want to be part of a meaningful social evening.
The event will bring together businessmen and businesswomen, donors, players, community representatives, and bereaved families, all united around one shared purpose: supporting the families of Israel’s fallen heroes.
Each ticket grants entry to the Unbroken event and one seat in the charity poker tournament.
Not at all.
Unbroken is open to everyone, including first-time players. The evening will begin with a short explanation of the rules, and instructors from “House of Poker” will be available throughout the event for anyone who needs guidance.
No. Since Unbroken is a charity event centered on community and giving, there are no cash prizes and no official rankings. The real “win” is the impact we’ll be making for families who need our support most.
The event is produced by Shalem Fund, in close partnership with the IDF Widows & Orphans Organization and additional collaborators. Shalem leads social-impact initiatives across Israel, focusing on long-term support for families who carry the national burden and on international efforts to counter disinformation about Israel.
